As per the general opinion regarding the Nifty reaching the 4700 levels, MRPL will be back to the 90-100 levels surely....

Sir, i had 100 share of MRPL of Rs 69.30 and 100 share of MRPL of Rs 75.would it go high or quit it?

For me, there was a double credit, which was reversed a few hours later. You may have similar issues possibly....

receved the dvident but its more than 12% , i didn\\`t understand why ... its 200/- for some equity and then 60 again .. i just have 50 shares

nthg wrong dear....juss have some patience.
this is one of the safest scrip to bet on. acumulate at these levels and forget about it. check it after 2 quarters, you will see it in 3 digits for sure....

Last qtr profit was because of low cost crude inventories. Now high cost crude effect will be reflected in q3 and q4. So high cost crude prices is not yet considered in any financial statements. Funds can not neglext any stock if that shows 130% jump in profit. But same profit would be translated in loss once it starts processing high crude inventories....

Boss Log, dont worry. Almost 80% predictions of mine came true. for MRPL I can say it will surely trade in 90-100 in couple of months as Oil prices will come down to $80 soon.
Keep accumlating at 55-60 range.

Yeah its true and I think the second quater results too will be good as crude is trading above 113 which is almost double it was trading last year in the same quater. And no doubt crude will trade between 100 and 120. I dont see it going below 100. If it goes it wont stay there for long. So refining margins will increase and the profit for finnancial year 09 will be almost double the profit mrpl had last year. It gave a dividend of 12% last time next time it should be about rs 4 seeing that the true value for this stock should be 100....

Not seen a more disgusting stock than MRPL. Everthing related to MRPL is going up (profits, sales, turnover, crude, production, etc. etc.) except the stock price.

If the OVL deal for imperial gets through than the major benificiary is likely to be MRPL, crude from Russia likely to flow into Mangalore port for refining at the MRPL facility thru ONGC.
Hold on to the stock can expect a target of Rs.100 in medium term...
