I guess, they have committed 30% of PBT towards social activities. I dont think we can expect the same dividend payout for the next few years. Rs. 30 should a decent level to enter this stock. ...

Yes , its true.
GIPCL is available at much lower price, Allmost at half the price of its expected book value for 2010. A rich dividends are rewarded for the longterm investor.
Buy @ 50.

This is the best stock available at this time at such a low price ,having current less than book value / good pe ratio / good dividened yield / good fundamental in market/ good growth of company .such type stock are less risky and high yield giving.

I feel one can take a contrarian buy on the Gujarat PSU stocks GMDC Guj Alkali GIPCO and GSFC. Even if one discounts the 30 percent profit sharing to social causes the valuations seem too attractive if one takes a one year perspective.
