Prithvi has shown 90cr. MTM LOSS in last two qrts. Is it recovrable in future?...

Mr.V.Satish, MD, of the company has replied at the AGM of September, 2008 that the company would comeforward for buy back within a months time. Hope, he will stand to his word and see that investors are put to loss. It is also said that there are about Rs.200.00 crores of cash reserves and the buy back would suffice. Mr.Satish please save us from loss. Please buy back at least by Rs.270/- at which the company has issued IPO. I have purchased the share at Rs.380/- that too considerable quantity of shares. Heavy loss. Please save me Mr.MD.

To save investors company should announce buy back at higher level immediately..otherwise it may crash further.

all indicators are meaningless in this mkts,
more than the facts,the fear factor is pulling markets more sothward
we have a herd culture
every thig looks the best even when the fundamentals remain the same and look worst,even with the same fundamentals
except for export oriented items,i personally dont find any reason for such a bad cpllaps
Any way its a matter of more than a year now to see things in +ve
In such situations,PE is sure be lessor,as the CMP goes low too

Yes we have to bear with prithvi or get out of this but its all because of LB n i dont find any reasons for stock going up in the near future so fast and same is with SUBEX
The promoters have a meager stake in the co n cornered lot of money,whereas investors are screaming now
By the time,the co stats giving results,their peers may grab substantial market share n this remains only an announcements company
The fate of both the cos is uncertain

it may be your luck on which you are riding, but i am saying about lakhs of people who are investers. tell me one thing...if anyone had bought reliance at 3290/- what he should do...dont think about me..i am safe...but those people who are investers ....about those who had bought aban offshore @5000/-...will they get this rates in future...never....or may be after 10years..remember about some stocks which are still nowhere....only some stocks which are now in A group..why...authorities wants to tell all of you that these are blue chips...what about HFCL, it was also bluechip..when it was in A group...
today you are thinking that you are a good invester bcoz...you had been regularly making profit due to your luck or may be bcoz of any assistance...but this is a dangerouse market to trade... so i request all new investers through these guys,who are prolific boarders....to stay away from the market..otherwise you all will be ruined.

Refer Business line Oct 2, 2008 Mumbai edition. BSNL 4000 crore Bid- earnings would be Rs 1000 crore . Several s/w giants Infosys, TCS have submitted their bid Alongwith PRITHVI. Company(BSNL) will analyse BIDs locally. Can we expect Prithvi to get a share. seeing past record of Rs 300 crore. Even a small share can boost topline and bottom line. Keep fingers crossed

prithvi in the last few years has bid for bsnl contracts a number of times but never get these bids as they are not competetive on pricing. they are not keen to lower their margins and they do not get these contracts. but in all fairness full marks to prithvi for religiously bidding even if they never get them....

My view prithvi is superb at this price. Buy limited. Company has learnt from its mistakes
1. this time they have not done derivative forward sale of USD. ie.e they will derive benefit of higher USD earning
2. The past losses are only provision losses not that the company has parted with money. They still hold the money. Just because they had bet wrongly thinking rupee with strenghten
in 2009-10 if rupee indeed strenghtens they can write back this provision.
Order book is for 12-15 months
Then they get repeat orders
Q2 results will be in 3rd week. Then it will be too late.
It is down because of Lehman sale

How big this company? Is it right entry level for this scrip? Lots of Good quality stocks availalbe at much cheaper than scrip whenever market will recover front stock will move first....
