Salaam Namasthe!
I am a fun loving boarder from Mumbai.
When every negative news flowing in, even a seasoned investor nerves become weak & resort to sell at what ever price one is getting in falling markets.
In a bull market, even Junk looks like a gold, investors flock to markets to buy any damn stock at crazy levels, where as in a bear market, even a fundamentally sound stock will not have takers at low price. This is the tradition of markets followed by all investors.
But only smart investors think otherway round.Always Look for value of a stock & Look for:
- ROE (return on equity)
- DER (Debt Equity Ratio) - Zero Debt is the best.
- RONW ( Return on Net worth)
- Dividend Distribution Policy - % of net earnings distributed
- Five year sales & profit record
If you study on above 5 basics of any stock then if you pick such stocks at every decline, then you can be next BILLIONNAIRE.

Now What after US turmoil????? No doubt investor confidence has shaken up. Its not a over night process to get back the confidence. It will take few years to build back.
With Crude continously falling to ease energy costs, And inflation control measure will keep interest rates high for quiet some time thereby putting pressure on corporates borrowings. India will still be far better compared to other economies as domestic demand is robust for various commodities & services.
With much anticipated Nuke deal passed by the senate & by US house, Indian economy will remain robust. Watch out for stocks in capital/power equipments like, pumps, motors, compressors, transformers, capacitors, insulators, fuse, switch gears, transmission line towers etc..etc.. for longterm gains.
Many bluechips valuations are now attractive for longterm investors. Now is the time to look for Bluechips....not cats & dogs category of stocks. In this market turmoil, STRICTLY KEEP AWAY FROM REALTY, FINANCE STOCKS.

Nothing is forever whether its BULL RUN or BEAR PHASE.Book Profits & Make it a habbit.Technicals of a stock can go wrong BUT fundamentals can never. View stock market as longterm investment NOT A CASINO or over nite get rich method.
If you wanna catch me try me at vikygreat at yahoo dot com Pease don't add me on messenger, as I have no time to chat. Only decent mails will be replied, rest will be blocked. I have no mailing list to send stock tips nor I have any commercial site (I hate those boarders who are misusing MMB forum for their commercial purpose). Watch my buy calls on MMB only

psgs,
Why buy Monsanto India? When you can afford to buy Monsanto Inc on NYSE. LOL..ROFL. The way US stocks melting down, we Indians can now afford buying NYSE listed stocks. Just Kidding..But take it seriously also.
Below 1000, Monsanto is appealing buy, but It may not come down to below 1000, at the most 1100+.
Have you seen, stocks like Castrol, Colgate, GSK Pharma have not come down in this mkt turmoil....

psgs,
Pfizer sales have impacted due to few Consumer health brands sell off to J&J. But they are showing improvement in bottom line. Stocks like pfizer will always give shareholders good rewards. Pfizer like stocks should always be added at declines. Rather its good news..if Pfizer like companies share prices fall, then its opportunity to bring down average price & increasing div yield.
I have already started averaging from the last one week those bluechips having high dividend payouts & entered in some low price stocks with good div yield ( 9-10% PA) with consistent div paying record.
There will be profit booking at every rise in market.FIIs will keep selling so I don`t feel worst is over for markets. Major index heavy weights like Reliance, ITC, Infosys, TCS are under bear grip. Any upward rally is difficult to sustain.Wait & Watch.

Don`t be so serious with wisdom & courage like words, shoot some laughing stuff, if you have. To begin with....Arz kia hai...
Jab dekha unko toh rooh khush ho gayi,
ek kami thi shayad vo bhi puri ho gayi,
Pagal hain vo log jo kehte hain ki,
chimpanzi ki aakhri nasal kahin kho gayi.
LOL..=))...

bg,
Pradeep has great ambitions, lets see how his ambitions will translate into wealth creation for shareholders. Whats the use of such turnover, if any company can`t create shareholder wealth, then all this turnover figures are superflous.
With market sentiments turning bearish, with US imbroglio and all IT stocks are plummeting. Still Accentia is far better. I am bullish on accentia because its in Healthcare Segment of BPO. Healthcare is such an industry recession or boom, its biz as usual.
Lets hope Accentia keeps its flag high despite market turmoil....

The Indo-US civilian nuclear deal clearing its final hurdle on Wednesday could set the ball rolling on the possibility of uranium imports from Nuclear Suppliers Group nations for the fuel-starved domestic nuclear power programme.
The groundwork for reactor imports and setting up of greenfield Light Water Reactor capacities involving global suppliers is, however, expected to take longer — anything from two to three years even in the best-case scenario.
As an immediate impact of the developments on the nuclear front, state-run Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL), which is currently starving for fuel and forced to run its 17 power stations at half their total capacity of 4,120 MWe, could well look at fuel imports to run its existing capacity at higher efficiency, a Government official involved in the exercise said.
In the case of reactor imports, the collaborative efforts could be faster in the case of Russia, since State-owned Russian nuclear firm Atomstroyexport is already assisting Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) in setting up two units at Koodankulam in Tamil Nadu as part of a deal signed in 1988.
Additional reactors with Russian assistance at the Koodankulam site, with four Light Water Reactor units of 1,000 MWe each on the anvil, are expected to be the first of the block following the opening up of the Indian nuclear market.
NPCIL plans to commence work on setting up four new reactors at Koodankulam with Russian assistance this December, with the draft technical and economic proposals expected to be firmed up latest by March-April 2009. The utility has already carried out some of the groundwork, including setting up support infrastructure and the commencement of digging of the foundation pit, as well as getting necessary permissions from the Ministry of Environment and Forests for the four new reactors at Koodankulam, an official said.
Besides, a fast-track approach with the French utilities such as Areva SA (A joint venture between Areva and Siemens) could also be on the horizon, especially for the proposed Jaitapur project in Maharashtra, which was earmarked earlier for joint execution by the two sides.
This could, however, take two or more years in terms of actual reactor imports, according to officials. “What has been signed with France is only a framework agreement for nuclear cooperation (between the two countries). There are more steps to be taken to operationalise the pact, before utilities can sign agreements with French utilities for importing reactors,” an official said. For US firms, including GE-Hitachi combine and Toshiba-owned Westinghouse, entry into the Indian market could take longer.
The Indo-US nuclear deal will now head to the White House for Bush signing it into a law. With Wednesday’s Senate vote, the deal is now ready to be inked by the US Secretary of State, Ms Condoleezza Rice, when she arrives in New Delhi on her rescheduled trip on Saturday, with the External Affairs Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee.
The US-India Business Council, a prominent industry lobby comprising 300 of the top US companies committed to a long-term partnership with India, said: “A massive scope for commercial opportunity between US and Indian companies will also be the result, valued at more than $150 billion over the next 30 years, spurring a revival of the nuclear power industries of both countries that will create as many as a quarter million high-tech US jobs for generations to come.”
