I would like to know your views on this large-cap fund - HSBC EQUITY. Though the performance numbers
of 3 and 5 years are spectacular somehow this is not much discussed or advised. (OLM has given only 3 start for this fund in their annual rankings for 2008 and also 2007). Recently this fund has earned 5 star rating in VR and Dhirendra Kumar has lately started including this fund in his
recommmendations, suprisingly if you check this fund in VR Online, no analysis is available for
this fund. An amt of 1 lac invested in dec 2002 is worth 9.5 lacs today in just 5.5 years of its existence, says the company advt.

Please share your thoughts on this fund and can it be considered for a SIP portfolio for long term.
