Dear friends,
Reliance opened its retail mall - Reliance mart on S G Highway on 15 august 2007.
It opened at 10 am , we went with family to visit at 11 am. There were long lines .
We passed time in OTHER shops. Till 1 pm still lines were there, we went to another mall. By 4 pm POLICE was placed to CONTROL the crowd.
Then today on sunday we went again at 11 am. The crowd was thin compared to 15th. We spent nearly 5 hours till 4 pm . It has three floors and lot of merchandise to sell. Then came time to leave. Billing clerk made mistake in PUNCHING the price - we paid the bill but then checked the bill before leaving the conter and found that 398 Rs were OVERCHARGED - we claimed refund of excess amount - THEN CAME REALITY- Reliance mart software DOES NOT ALLOW REFUND if entry is entered wrongly due to fault of its own EMPLOYEE ! How pathetic and MISERABLE excuse ! They gave credit voucher which i have to encash within next month !
We dream of mimicking china and singapore BUT our SOFTWARES and PRACTICES are still LIGHTYEARS behind.
Customer is NOT KING here YET.
In US if you are right and store is wrong they do not mind refunding the amount.
WHEN Reliance will LEARN !
