Well, I never like to blow my own trumpet, but this is just for inquisitive people. I am just a day trader who only trades in futures lots. I also do momentum trading and mostly swing trading. I never like to trade in delivery stocks coz the investment is greater and also the brokerage is higher. However, in futures, with less money and leverage at my disposal, I manage to trade in lots much easily. I have started trading since april 2007 only, and in a matter of months made and lost a lot of money too. However, I am a fighter and will not rest until I return victorious from this episode, hence, I am delving deeper and deeper into this chasm of the markets. And mind you, its getting more and more interesting too.
For all new comers to the markets, my message to you is that it is easy to make money in the markets as there is no physical labor involved, however, the mental stress can turn out to be your worst enemy. Hence, you need a strong will and loss sustaining power to fight it out here, otherwise,it can be tough to turn out a winner. You should not run away after loosing money. Mantain a strict regimen for trading and play within your limits with strict stop losses and you may make good money here. So all the best to you all. Happy trading.

Hello pkk07,
That leaked letter had nothing new in it when it came out. In fact, if
you had watched the interview of Kapil Sibbal with Karan Thaapar on thursday night on CNBC, you could have seen how confident Kapil was of clinching the deal. There, he clarified that there is nothing new in this leaked letter. This condition of not conducting further nuclear tests was already there in the minutes of the 123 agreement.
After seeing his confidence, I went long on friday at the days lows. Now I will be laughing all the way to the bank when we open gap up on monday and the bears will run to cover their shorts. Lol.

Yes radkhikaji,
I agree with you that the TRIN was showning to be in oversold zone and also the slow stochs were giving a buy signal and yet we sank. And now the slow stochs is not giving a buy signal and yet we may surge up - lol.
Also the thought that this market demands tuition fees so many times from us was a good one. I totally agree with you, these days the stock markets have surely become a gambling den, where players enter and exit quickly for a quick buck without paying any attention to investment strategies. Hence, let us also play along and take dips into the running tide. All the best.

Hello pkk07,
First of all, please do not cultivate such negative thoughts for our beloved prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. I hold this person in really high esteem although he may some flaws. But who cares, he too is human and not a devta just like all of us. I give him full credit for putting our derailed financial health back on the tracks way back when he was finance minister and giving us a right push with his team of Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia etc. Dr. Singh is a true financial wizard and I am sure he has done his homework well when he went full thrust into this nuclear deal by even putting his government to stake.
The NSG meet has again ended inconclusively last night and will resume for talks again today , saturday 6th sep at 2.30 pm IST. So please dont loose all hope yet. I quote a few lines below fromm a site I reproduce -
Ruling out any substantive changes, India has rejected any attempt to add a clause on testing to the waiver document. However, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Friday that India was committed to non-proliferation and a unilateral moratorium on nuclear testing went a long way in converting sceptic countries over to its side.
Diplomats are working late in Vienna to make final changes to the draft, acceptable to all sides.
Even though the negotiations failed to make headway, sources say the fact that the talks haven’t broken down indicate that all the 45 NSG nations hope to evolve a consensus soon.
According to the NSG rules, the waiver must be approved unanimously for it to be adopted.
So cheer up my friend. I am still positive on this and support Dr. Singh whole heartedly for taking such a bold step in his career which ultimately is going to be so beneficial for India.
cheers.

Yes radkhikaji,
After seeing nifty do a topsy turn inspite of the charts showing something else for the past two days, I too feel like throwing TA into the dustbin. Sheer madness going on these days worldwide.
After such a strong rally on tuesday, all TA was showing a higher trajectory, but nope, nifty had other plans. Seems , we will have to overlook TA for a few days and see the market sentiments which are taking more centrestage these days.

Hi pradesh,
Its so sad that one cannot pass criticism out here on the boards healthily. I mean, one should learn to accept ones faults if there are any. This is not the way of getting rid of criticism by deleting an open statement. Earlier, I used to write so prolifically out here, but now I find it useless due to such characters.I am not one who will falsely accuse or praise someone. If someone deserves praise , he will get it from me and if criticism, he will get that too. Anyway, I was expecting it to be deleted hence had preserved my message. Lets see, how many times he deletes it.lol
