HI Prabhu and LearningMarket,
Why r u afraid of JPHYDRO only? Watch the other stocks. Sell all your stocks... not only JPH. There are so many falling knives that they will not only cut your hand but your whole body and heart also....

The P-Note policy is being used as a tool. We also read here that SEBI believes that P-Note is the major saviour of the sensex. Wont be surprised if they make an open request to stop the exodus here....

the input FROM SEBI is not to send the P-Notes away even after this damage,!!!!

When and how do we come to know that P-Note funds have left the market ? Your input here will be very valuable for long term investors waiting and wondering when to enter.

Its always good to have some investment strategies but not wise to be adamant and strategies to be changed according to situations. Always keep a stop loss in the range of 10-15% and exit when things are not happening as anticipated. The problem is that the behaviour of the market itself is changing year after year and hence orthodox ways of investing will not work in all stocks. Ofcourse there are exceptions like Infosys, Larsen, BHEL where you can stick on for long term irrespective of interim ups and downs, but stocks like JP Hydro are more volatile while on the rise and hence to be cautious while entering at higher levels.

yes i guess averaging out will be a good strategy. This week may give an opportunity for good buy. Post september results if may go to 55. If market sentiments are ok by march 2009 it may hit 65. Global cues r important, watch out for them.
Remember till u have hope n heart u can climb back. And never invest so much which will make you loose hope and heart.
In this market sticking to one stock to recover may not help....
