Probably the present bearish market condition is affecting both Bongaigaon Refineries and Chennai Petroleum, hopefully the stocks would recover to earlier levels when the market sentiment improves....

If the dividend yield is 1% or so, then you wouldn't see such selling. In this case, the dividend yield was about 7-7.5% and hence people are selling it on the ex-date for quick buck and the share price reflects the ex-dividend price. Infact the future price of Bongaigaon has been trading at about 6% discount throughout this month and after the fall today, the future is trading at a premium of about 1.8% suggesting that the downside is probably over for now.

you will not get dividend on it and neither expect it to go to 70 in a week time. I am not seeing much downside from here though. But in current volatile market, I am seeing no reason to buy for 7-10 days. Hold it for a month and you will get your money back....
