If at NSA the N-deal gets approved, there will be big leap in the the Power Biggies, who are looking towards the N-Power Plants in a bbig way thereby make these stocks move very fast....

Ntpc Limited has informed the Exchange that: "A 500 MW unit of Sipat Super Thermal Power Project-Stage II of NTPC Limited located in the state of Chattisgarh has been successfully synchronized on 13th August 2008.This is the second unit that has been commissioned in respect of Sipat Super Thermal Power Project slated to have an ultimate capacity of 2980 MW. Needless to mention NTPC is a safe bet, but still the returns are not so attractive as it should be. If the Nuke deal clicks, then we can expect better gains and good chances for the stock to cross 300 mark. Stay invested.

dear friends
after being one of the largest producer of electricity with so many joint ventures this year
with big companies this stock has not grown the way it should be seems
investors are not understanding the value of NTPC its one of the strongest script and stock to hold for long term ..i cud not understand why investors dont see the present performances as well as future projects n venture of ntpc its also gonna involve in nuclear power plant projects wht else u cud expect of getting from such a script and stock which is available at such a reasonable price which is Rs.182 technically its one of the strongest script and stock available on nse below Rs.200 ...why brokers and analyst are not giving right advice to buy this stock i cud not understand may be some wants to enter and buy at lil lower levels thats why some are misguiding by giving lower level rates of such a strong and good script available right now i request investor to have patience and buy this script as much as possible coz sooner or later its gonna give great returns i use to say its a golden script but now i say after some joint ventures lease and buying of new mines and nuclear deal its really a diamond (strong and precious) stock and script in the market available @ Rs.180.80 really best time and best script to invest at this level...

i suggest u its a strong buy u can hold it for mid term and long term
short term target is 222 mid term is arround 268 to 288 and long term it cud reach 666-888 mind it its a real worth stock one of the strongest script @ Rs.182 right now below 200 its the strongest script and stock to buy at this level

Ntpc Limited has informed the Exchange that a memorandum of Understanding was signed on August 8, 2008 at New Delhi amongst NTPC Ltd, NHPC Ltd, Power Finance Corporation Ltd. and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. for incorporation of a joint venture company to set-up and operate a Power Exchange at national level.This Power Exchange would provide a neutral and transparent electronic platform for trading of power on "day ahead basis" and ensure clearing of all trades in a transparent, fair and open manner with access to all players in the power markets....

i suggest u its a strong buy u can hold it for mid term and long term
short term target is 222 mid term is arround 268 to 288 and long term it cud reach 666-888 mind it its a real worth stock one of the strongest script @ Rs.182 right now below 200 its the strongest script and stock to buy at this level ...

NTPC is facing coal shortage from couple of months which will result in the reduction of its profit and thus its price may further fall. I am not seeing any good appreciation in the near term but definitely this is a solid share from a long term prospective. If you can wait for 5 years, you can see the real growth in your investment.

In a nutshell I am not seeing reaching 265 in next one year time (at least before election). Short term investor may exit from the stock at 200.

From the buying prospective, don't buy now but wait to reach at 165. (Excellent buy at that time).
