Dear PQ and Nadhi Uncle too:

yo yo yam yam tanum bhaktah shraddhayarcitum icchati
tasya tasyacalam shraddham tam eva vidadhamy aham
[chapter 7, slokam 21

Since as the super soul I am in everyone’s heart, no sooner does one desire to worship some entity than I make his faith steady so that he can devote himself to that particular form.

Since making money in the stock markets is everyone’s aim, no sooner has an investor done appropriate and due diligence than the markets make his trust in his methods and strategies steadfast so that he can concentrate on this activity. However, the moment he wavers in his confidence in his own judgment the market just swallows him.

Dear Atheist,
Let me try to say a few things
When i said knowledge is god,it is yes
Because we have that,we have him inside us
Realizing that truth is,which is the bliss-saints where able to achieve

We cannot explain God thru science because it is beyond science
You were explaining various invention of humans
Did they find some thing which did not exist,as their knowledge increased
They understood more, the came up with new invention, and this is going to keep them finding more and more
It is like a man finding more and more from a treasure house
It is created by some one else and he found it
That is how scientific findings are
Now a simple question arises
Can man create a planet?stars?Black holes?
He can simulate these ideas and try to understand them
But cannot create in the size that exists
We are trying to understand 4th dimension time, they are trying to explain by working on sting theory---Long way to go
What these show?we are are finding more and more secret that exist
So we are looking at the supreme intelligence which created these
If we want to understand elephant we have to see it in whole
But if we started looking at trunk, legs, eyes etc etc it may look like
each is an invention(just example of partially looking)
Or Say looking at trees and not forest
so understanding god cannot be done with limited intelligence
It requires greater effort which was done by our sages
If we look a bit more with emotion and trust, would you imagine
Buddha paid a hoax on people?
My impartial suggestion read some books of J Krishnamurti
you will get some idea and question answered

Dear GV,
Am sorry to say this but i don\\`t see the the connection between knowledge and God. What exactly do you mean when you say, \\`knowledge is God\\`.
Now, for example, I have knowledge of simple arithmetic, does it mean i have God in me??? I am confused by your comments.
Another example, i have knowledge required to ride a bike, does that mean i have god in me.
Sorry, but your comments make no sense to me.
could you please enlighten me with a clear explanation about THE \\`knowledge\\` you are talking about, that according to you is God.
Now, coming to life......I am sure you will not deny the fact that nothing much was known about animal life a few 100 years ago. But with every passing day some knowledge is being gained about life, and how it exists.
Life does not come from anywhere, Its a just the existence of an animal. An animal(including humans) is alive till his body is being nourished with food, oxygen and water. You stop one of these and he is dead and his body decomposes. Just like a automobile which requires fire, fuel and oxygen to keep running, take out one of these and the automobile comes to a stop.
The difference between a Human and a automobile being that a Human is a FAR MORE COMPLEX contraption than a automobile, having complex qualities like senses, emotions, conscience etc...
A few hundred years ago we dint even have a simple automobile and the very thought of having a machine that could transport you to a place 1000s of miles far in a few hours could seem like a big JOKE.
Now we have planes that that fly at super sonic speeds...
We have managed to create life virtually outside an animal body...cloning.
If you read todays TIMES IF INDIA edition, you will see that scientists are saying that the day is not far when we will be able to extend animal life to the required age.
With every advancing day a lot of unanswered questions ATTRIBUTED ONLY TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD are being unraveled by science..
At this rate the day should not be far when people will start believing that everything non explainable by humans which was attributed to GOD, coz we humans did not have the vision to expalin the unexplainable and CONVENIENTLY CREATED A GOD, to escape from our own shortcomings.
I reiterate my earlier statement...God was created by us humans due to lack of confidence in ourselves.

India has expressed regret over the \"irresponsible\" remarks by a UN body about alleged human rights abuse in Jammu and Kashmir and underlined that New Delhi \"did not need any advice to protect the rights of its citizens\".

\"We regret that the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has issued a statement on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir,\" external affairs ministry spokesperson Navtej Sarna said in a statement late on Thursday night.

\"This is uncalled for and irresponsible; India does not need any advice in respect of the protection and promotion of the human rights of its citizens,\" he said.

He was referring to a statement by the Geneva-based OHCHR expressing concerns over \"recent violent protests in Indian-administered Kashmir that have reportedly led to civilian casualties as well as restrictions to the right to freedom of assembly and expression.\"

The OHCHR also called on the Indian authorities, in particular security forces, to respect the right to freedom of assembly and expression, and comply with international human rights principles in controlling the demonstrators.

Reacting sharply, New Delhi pointed out that Jammu and Kashmir has been \"a victim of terrorist violence for almost two decades\" and the authorities have acted \"within the law and with restraint\" throughout this period.

\"Terrorist groups have targeted innocent civilians. They have not refrained from taking women and children as hostages as in the recent incident in Jammu,\" he said.

\"In all their actions against terrorists, personnel of the security forces have sought to ensure that no innocent lives are lost; and for this objective have on many occasions laid down their lives,\" he added.

\"The Acting High Commissioner calls for thorough and independent investigations into all killings that have occurred so far,\" Michele Montas, spokesperson for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, said in New York on Wednesday.

\"That the Secretary-General himself does not issue a statement should not be read as a sign that he is not aware of, or concerned about, the situation,\" Montas added when asked why the UN Secretary-General himself has not issued a statement on the situation in Kashmir.

The UN body\'s statement is seen here as a diplomatic setback for India as recent protests have drawn international attention to what some see as human rights violations in Indian Kashmir and India\'s dispute with Pakistan over this issue.

In a bid to internationalise the Kashmir issue, Pakistan has accused India of using disproportionate use of force and of human rights violations. India has repudiated Pakistan\'s contention saying Islamabad has no right to interfere in the internal affairs of India. Experts have warned the Indian government that if the crisis in Kashmir is not defused, the issue could be internationalized.

Dear Mr nadi
Let make it simple. It is a repeat. PENCILS ERASERS BECAUSE WE MAKE MISTAKES. ERASE YOUR MISTAKES AND WRITE ON THE WALL. Cheers

29 Aug 2008 18:48

If I knew it would be the last time I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and "pray the Lord, your soul to keep."

If I knew it would be the last time I'd see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss you, and call you back for more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time I could spare an extra minute or so
to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you would know I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day, to say our "I love you's",
and certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But, just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you, and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So, if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For, if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day...

That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So, hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
that you love them very much and you'll always hold them dear.

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "thank you," or "its okay".
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

karans interview with Shabnia Azmi---Crap

Posted by : gv

Hi,
I watched this interview absolute crap
There are are many point one can differ
But one or two i want to respond
She is unable to buy flat in Mumbai because Muslim
And also saif ali khan etc
1 instead of making sweeping allegation she must come out
with more details
2 Being a social activist (her claim) there are sufficient laws in the country against religious discrimination to proceed if you have facts
3 Why she is not saying about Mohalla politics?
Why isolate your self from the rest and then blame the rest for discrimination?
4 I know they will have 100 logic to do that, but at least let her come out with one positive act and take leadership of that
5 her remarks \"Khans Are Ruling Bollywood\" is that secular?
On top of all Karan was leading the interview in certain way
Very cheap

Everyone in the wedding ceremony was watching the radiant bride as her father escorted her down the aisle to give away to the groom. They reached the altar and the waiting groom ; the bride kissed her father and placed something in his hand. Everyone in the room was wondering what was given to the father by the bride.

The father could feel the suspense in the air and all eyes were on him to divulge the secret and say something. So he announced "Ladies and Gentlemen today is the luckiest day of my life." Then he raised his hands with what his daughter gave him and continued, "My daughter finally, finally returned my credit card to me." The whole audience including the priest erupted in laughter.......... all except the poor Groom!!
