NAGPUR: The second capital of Maharashtra will soon have the privilege of having a 10 mw solar thermal power plant, which will be the biggest such plant in entire Asian continent, thanks to the initiative of union ministry of new and renewable energy.

\" The unique 10 mw solar thermal generation facility will also serve the purpose of demonstration for solar energy enthusiasts across the country, being the only plant coming up here,\" Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Vilas Muttemwar said.

Nagpur has been selected because of high sun radiation besides its central geographical location, the minister said adding the solar energy generated is environmental friendly and free from any polution.

Moreover, there are no transmission and distribution losses unlike the traditional methods of coal-fired energy in most electricity generation units.

The plant load factory is between 80 to 90 per cent of the installed capacity, he said. \" The generated power will be put on the national grid. Its small step but a big leap in solar energy generation world,\" Muttemwar, the lone congress MP from entire Vidarbha said.

His ministry has approached the Maharashtra government for allotment of a suitable piece of land anywhere here including the area under Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

All these genes are part of the insulin pathway. So if scientists are able to substitue guanine instead of thymine in this gene on both chromosomes i guess future replication will ensure guanine in all the cells... and a long life.. no wonder equitysurgeon said the key to longevity has already been discovered. Lets see.... the newer geneation of kids may not get vaccines, they will have genetic engineers tinkering with their cells.

Oh Yes, I remember Deve Gowda our exprime minister. He did create a record. The whole world was laughing at him.
He went to Russia in a lungi and while he was taking the red carpet salute, his govt. in India collapsed.
Once through with the red carpet, someone whispered in his ears that he in no more the Prime minister.
He cut his speach and returned to India and was lost for sometime.
He is hoping to get some ministerial post once Mayawati becomes the prime minister.
There are no shortage of clowns and idiots in this country.

You dont have to go to an astrologer anymore. The scienetits have made it easier. The gene to longevity has been discovered.

The gene foxo3a has been identified as the key to longevity and if in this gene guanine is present instead of thymine in one chromosome the individual lives longer and has twice the chance of living upto 98 to 106 years of age and if he had guanine on both chromosomes he has thrice the chance of living up to that age. So shortly we will just have to get a gene test done and decide if we have to be responsible at an younger age or older age.. If we are going to live until 106 years why become responsible at 60? Have a blast until 80, there is always a time to sound serious and morose.. except of course an accident nothing can shorten the life span and chronic diseases will not affect these guys.

Mr Reddy was one of the worst RBI governor India had ever had. He changed many forward looking policies of the previous governors so that the banking sector reforms is back by atleast a decade. He knows only two tricks to control inflation : Raise crr rate or repo rate. He even stopped paying interest on crr amount parked by banks with rbi. he single handedly stopped the banking sector reforms during his entire tenure. he is a good riddance and i sincerely hope mr rao will be bring in fresh round of reforms to take the financial sector forward instead of taking it back courtesy Mr reddy....
