low grade is that of sesa goa. u misunderstood the english.if u are even remotely aware of iron ore you would have known that goan ore is mostly low grade which is exported and sesa\\`s main mines are in goa even though they too have a mine in karnataka....

In the same post you say they mine amazing quality manganese ore & also that they export low quality ore. It shows your true colours. The truth is that the manganese ore in their mines is low grade, boss.

hi...i hail from bellary.this mining co is better than sesa goa in as far as its assets go as it has amazing quality manganese ore reserves which can last a century.but it being a forest area there are caps on qty of ore mining and hence the mining will be restricted to 20lac-22lac tonnes appx.sesa is targeting 7 million tonnes but most of it is low grade ore exported. in terms of quality of asset its arguably one of the best as the bellary sandur hospet belt has amongst the best quality ore.NMDC\\`s Donimalai mines are a stones throw from smiore mines ( as the call it here) and its considered amongst the best in india .simple math can tell you for various iron ore: manganese ore prodction mix the co can safely earn how much.the mgt on cnbc told 85 : 15 mix will help them earn 600 crs in FY09.a small increase towards manganese can easily help them surpass that fig.and high grade manganese ore is a much more scarce resource than iron ore.do correct me if im wrong

- Since Sandur is often moving in circuits, risk is more in this stock. It can reach upto Rs. 1500 in one year.
- Sesa Goa is a more stable stock and risk is minimal. So if you prefer to stay invested for long without taking much of a risk, better go for Sesa Goa. ...

I know you are an actve member of Sesa Goa massage board also. plz tell which is better company in the long term Sandur Or Sesa Goa. The Performance of ths company has not been steady in the past. is there any target?

This Company is doing well and there is good chances this stock can move up steadily from current levels. Good investment for long term.

moneycontrol updates prices evry 2mins .it could be that at the time u checked the price the stock hadnt been traded.like for instance today the first trade happened quite a few minutes after mkt opening.till such time it was showing yesterdays closing price....
