But whatever said & done.... Now whether Unitech or any other realty scrips wont go up & up in a straight line..... Sentiments have really turned upside down..... And I have learnt one thing that SENTIMENTS ALWAYS holds an UPPER HAND among FUNDAMENTALS & Technicals etc.

But I am also sure that in the long run.... say in 1.5 to 3 years time ..... All these stocks will DEFINATELY CROSS its previous highs & wud ALSO go much much beyond those HIGHER PEAK LEVELS, as I PERSONALLY think & PRESUME that REALTY PRICES in INDIA in the LONGER TERM , say by 2011 will again be at much higher levels.... Any property history wud foretell U that REALTY PRICES have ALWAYS RISEN in the long term & even gone further up than their previous highs....

One more reason I think is that this SECTOR is highly under-owned, in terms of its equities, by any group of people..... ALSO, foreign funds whenever they will come in, will come in FIRST into this sector & also DIRECTLY into REAL ESTATE..... I think the begginning to all this will be SECOND HALF of 2009, when the seeds of INVESTMENTS wud be bowed & fresh start all over again.....

Do ur research... that wud be far better & always make it habit to churn ur core LT-PF, something which even I havent done many-a-times.... My main problem is that I use to always sell partly[1/3rd or 50% of my total Quantity held] & keep & forget the rest of the quantity as my LT-PF & I am holding stocks even from 2003, but now i realise that ONE SHUD ALWAYS BOOK OUT *FULLY* EVERY 2 to 3 years , as our beloved friend goldChest had always explained many-a-times..... They say one learns better ONLY after getting HURT.... But this time MY LEARNINGS proved very costly...... Still I am making the best efforts to be POSTIVE as always.

What makes you think that realty scrips can be still badly hit?

They have already taken beating of more than 80% to 97% in many of realty scrips from their peaks..... So what is left is merely 20% to 3% in some of them......... What more or further they can fall???? LOL

I know, I know U & people in general wud remind me of Real-Estate price , which still wud fall by another 30 to 50% for sure, BUT STILL at these stock-price-levels, they have EVEN DISCOUNTED **A FALL** of may be 50 to 70%.... Wat Say????? Isnt it????

you are right. But this time whatever he is talking is absolutely right as market have negatives more than positives this month. One is uncertain global markets. Second is assembly poll results and third is uncertainty of stimulus package. Thus we can safely assume that market will not go up sharply from here but can easily come down from these levels. It will be better to buy stocks if sold at these level at lower levels later. This is the right strategy in the current market. Your strategy of selling part quantity is also right so that bus could not be missed if their is a rally. But certain times if there is full conviction about the fall then entire quantities should be sold. I have saved my portfolio in a great way by cutting the portfolio at level of 19000. Even markets touched 21000, I didn`t worried and bought as many puts in options segment and rest of the things happened in january itself. Our market has yet not bottomed out but may soon bottom out within some months. At those times stocks with sound fundamentals should be definitely added into portfolio. best regards...

Hence, do not try to think of Pakistan without its army, irrespective of who rules that country temporarily and nominally. At least 70% of the market capitalisation of the Karachi stock exchange is owned by the army and related groups. 4. There are three groups in India, who are obsessed with friendship with Pakistan. One is the oldies born in that part before partition and who are nostalgic about the Lahore havelis, halwas and mujras. The second is the Bollywood and other assorted groups, who look at it as a big market. The Dawood gang has financed enough of these useful idiots. The third is the candle light holding bleeding heart liberals (BHLs) who cannot imagine India doing well without its younger brother taken care.
