CDI has a long way to go before it can really establish itself as a respected Company.

Yep Religare and HDFC started traking the company is a step in right direction.

So CDi too become div paying company -!!! Good This Company made IPO to make CD like moser Baer , but could never make and remained in loss till few years back ; when it ventured into Animation.

Yeh I am few of the Shareholders whos still invested suince IPO.

Who know if this becomes next multi multi bagger ???

and for that management need to come clean " no personal studio o get companies work done" although I have great respect for the management ; as they could have easily diverted this animation business in any other private company of their own but they choose to promote CDi.

and yep they should atleast inform the amount of maoney they are raising and purpose.

Compact Disc India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 30, 2008, inter alia, has approved and adopted the following:

1. Dividend @ 10% for the financial year 2007-08.

2. To create Share Holders Welfare Fund with initial capital of Rs 50.00 Lac for granting interest free loan to those members of the Company, who have been continuously holding its shares at least for the past 10 years, to meet their personal, medical and educational needs.

3. Terms and conditions of the Sanctioned Banking Facilities letter for the working capital requirements of the Company.

This is anovel step -ie offering interest free loans to those who have kept the shares for 10 years. The company demands loyalty from the shareholders and is willing to reward them. Great. Perhaps ( repeat perhaps) first of its kind in Corporate India.

CDI has updated its website with latest Business Plan(August) for the current fiscal, which is very rare in small companies in India. We must appreciate management for the same.
