What is cooking up in this counter today?
The price reached 240/- before correcting to 236/-.
The pace at which the price is rising, it seems the target of 290/- set by Citigroup is doable by this month end or latest by mid January. It may sound funny but do share your views....

Here we go!!! If there are further price drops just see them as buying opportunities. How long can FII go on selling? Value buyers are already stepping in. And don`t think that are our domestic institutions are blind to value either.
Let`s back up a bit. The FII in all their collective wisdom bought TANLA because of its fundamentals at much higher prices. If it was a great stock then, it`s even better now. Because of the FII`s internal problems they are forced to sell. Great! The same stock is available to us at a fraction of earlier valuations. And the fundamentals now look many times brighter. So buy the value now, as it can pivot upwards anytime, like todays action. If there is another price drop, sell other stock and buy even more TANLA. That`s what I did at 56.

RIL EPS for this year is expected to be arnd 80-90. During dull market periods RIL is valued at 10-13 times. During a bear phase it could be lower. So I would tend to agree with you price target below 900 for long term buy. However I do feel that oil prices will not be low for long, they will settle above $60-65.
FYI Exxon is only investing in deep water oilfields if the cost of production is below $55, indicating their price target of 60-70 in the future.
With these low oil prices a lot of traders have started to store oil on large ships, hoping to sell it when the prices turn. This in turn is providing a fillip to the beaten down oil tanker market. Oil & gas sector will be the first to rebound when the market looks up, which could be as early as May/June 09. Oil demand in India & China continues to grow as a healthy clip. It wont be long before some savvy investors start to include that into their calculations....

Friends,
I believe in the long term India growth story, but at the same time my rational thought is that there is a sharp pull down in waiting. The news from west is not good at this point of time. Many companies are issuing pink slips. US, Europe in recession. China & Asia de-growth. Indian IT companies are seeing the revenue streams drying already. I would take a cautious approach for next 8 - 12 months. A long recession is underway.
Regarding Reliance, the stock is correctly valued - with it`s chemicals and down stream businesses benefiting from crude price drop. But Exploration & other biz. such as Retail ventures taking a big hit. Expect a fall below 900 to buy it for long term.
Thanks,
Ravieria

With reference to the earlier announcement dated December 01, 2008 regarding to publish Audited FY 08 results, GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare Ltd has now informed BSE that in the last sentence of the first paragraph, there was a typographical error i.e. instead of October 01, 2008 it was inadvertently mentioned as September 01, 2008. Hence, the last sentence of the first paragraph may be read as follows:
"Accordingly, the Company shall not be submitting the unaudited financial results for the last quarter from October 01, 2008 to December 31, 2008.

Hi Chief,
what will our research do when they can fool S. P. Tulsian & Motilal Oswal type ( Self styled Experts ) & they reccomemd to buy this stock & company is showing results Net profit 424.26 Lacs in 2005 next year company is showing 1538.18 Lac net profit in 2006 & again 2010.47 lacs profit in 2007 but .....but...after the IPO & collecting all the new funds they show 1130.60 Lacs net profit ( Nine Months )which includes great depression from Jan 08 till date due to Decline in Stock Mkt. ( infact in such conditions profit should be more due to increase in sale)
but they are showing 1130.60 lacs profit less than 2007 but they need now Basic Salary Rs. 400,000/- per month (Double) for our Managing Director plus perks & same is for joint managing director from Rs.200,000.00 after such results as per Annual Report 2007-08
Any Comments...

aspardeshi, either u r not aware of the earlier messages or u r plainly playing to the gallery. Some one mentioned that UBH is going to fall to Rs.25 per share. So I replied saying that I will sell my house and buy UBH if it falls to that rate. So please read my message properly. My view is that UBH is extremely under valued share and it should be worth atleast 25 times present market price. ...

I do think that Rolta`s management is greatly responsible for down fall in its share price. Rolta`s management is found lagging in its efforts to highlight in media the details about its current performance, likely growth in revenue, stable profit margin and in particular about contribution from its acquitions of companies in USA. I hope the performance of those acquired companies is not a drag on company`s performance specially when USA`s economy is suffering. This is where the management`s timely action and announcement through media is necessary....

A growing liquor market, fall in aviation fuel costs, possibility of uniform sales tax on AFT at 4% throughout india instead of present 4 to 35% sales tax. So all in all its airline business will also turn around much before March 2009. With many PE players eyeing for a stake in Kingfisher Airlines, it can be sold at handsome premium rate. Also do not forget that the world`s No.1 liquor major is negotating for a stake which again boost valuations. ...

Hi trulyfair,
Was away on personal work. Did`t see the update on quarterly results which yor are mentioning. Did checked BSE announcements from the past week.. but could not co-relate the latest annoncements to `update on quarterly results`.
I don`t think Marg can repeat the EPS of last 2, 3 quarters. Neverthless, I feel, the CMP is good enough to accumulate, given the cheap valuations.
