Can atleast one analyst tell the board how mathematically a share had an IPO price 300 to 500 times the face value? Leave alone the fact that the re was a mad rush or herd metality or drum beating of the media. Personally, I feel the Unitech may quote at a single figure.

My message was not flashed in full. The rest is as under:
"Insurance penetration in India is very low and the general insurance industry is expected to grow at a brisk rate of 15-20 per cent per annum over a period of next 10-years," Bhatt said in the release.
"SBI, with its unparalleled brand equity and extensive distribution network will be able to provide protection to people even in the far-flung rural and semi-urban areas throughout the country and help deepen the market," Bhatt added.
With this foray, the bouquet of financial products offered by the SBI Group ensures its footprints in every area of financial services, the release said.
The bank is already offering life insurance products through its subsidiary, SBI Life Insurance Company.
IAG`s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Wilkins, said that the joint venture was a significant step in IAG`s strategy to pursue select intetrnational general insurance opportunities.

It is worth buying at current level. If you are keen forget the past performance as the same may or may not repeat. This is an export oriented company . the company contributes a lot for the critical care health industry which cannot delay their purchases forit`s growth.these are the plus points. the other side is the liquidity problem of the purchaser, wherever he is. Any delay or failure to implement their expansion will have an impact inthe growth of this sector.
still you are interested, always buy with your surplus in four or five lots with the allotted money for this counter. That way you can average the price. always have atarget to exit. If you get a profit of 15 to 20 % book the profit with out attaching sentiments.
Wish you happy hunting.
