A matter of debate....what you have to say..!!!...

In reply to:

India has given up on nuclear tests --!!!!

Posted by : zoombusiness

There is no way that India can conduct nuclear tests now,the Indian Government has given up hopes of testing nuclear devices in the future.

Since the beginning of this nuclear issue, the discussion has been revolving around India\'s commitment of voluntary moratorium on testing. Many countries were not satisfied with it. Even the Indian government started talking about that how Indian scientists have already obtained relevant data from the Pokhran tests. It was said that the government has been advised that India does not require to conduct nuclear tests. Public comments were made that now, computer simulation is sufficient to test devices. This shows that the government is reconciled about giving up nuclear tests. Rest of the fight was to avoid the backlash on the issue.

Somewhere, the government must have given the assurance that India doesn\'t require testing. The government has already said that India has the legal right to conduct nuclear tests and the United States has the legal right to react. The US has appreciated this statement. After a good amount of investment is done in the nuclear power sector, it will be difficult to return equipments, fuel, spares and resources. Because they have the right to react, your right to conduct tests is unlikely to be exercised at the cost of heavy economic fall-out.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has stipulated that once an imported power plant comes under the purview of safeguards, it will remain so till it is abandoned or it is unusable.

So, even if the fuel supplies are stopped, the power plants will be of no use to India.

The waiver obtained by India at Vienna will help Indian reactors get fuel. In that sense, it will be a great relief. It will help in the short term to mid-term prospects of the nuclear energy industry. But in the long run, it will be detrimental to India\'s research programme for thorium based technology.

The nuclear power plant suppliers are bound to influence India\'s policies, once they enter the market.

The world is not well tuned to thorium based energy programmes, so the enriched uranium based plants manufacturers will push India in a certain direction.

Manmohan showed courage. NSG waiver would boost exports and production internally as power shortage issue can be addressed. We should start a new thread 'Will Nifty hit 6300 and Sensex 21000?'

As many as 400 Indian and foreign firms are seen as the beneficiaries of the far-reaching verdict in Vienna on Saturday where the 45-member Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) decided to resume civilian nuclear commerce with India.

India\'s apex industry bodies, which have hailed the decision, also feel that the country can now attract over $40 billion in foreign investment over the next 10-15 years as the result of private sector entry into India\'s nuclear power generation.

Should children witness childbirth?
Due to a power outage, only one Paramedic responded to the call for a woman in labor. The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Mother Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry. The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about what she had just
witnessed. Kathleen quickly responded, 'He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place, smack him again!' If you don't laugh at this one, there's no hope for you!
Cheers!!!

Dear friend
This simply reminds of the ageold British policy of divide and rule. Further US had assumed the role of Internation Policing world over.
But it has a poor success-rate. They were only successful in the disintegration of Soviet Russia, which was posing a great challenge to them in every field whether it was science or technolgy or warfare. Further it has been the policy of US not to allow any country to develop. Therefore they used a country against another as shield. They talk of democracy etc.etc. but it is only on paper. Earlier countries were a shade afraid of the magnitude of US strike potence. But unfortunately after 9/11, thier weakness is totally exposed. But despite their advanced technolgy, warfare, etc. etc. and the Great Allingnemnt on Terror, Osama is still dodging the Bush Administration. Perhaps Bush may not be able to fullfil his vow to catch him ever after his second term. Now Bush has to hand over the baton to Obama to catch Osama.

Further during the recent NSG meeting regarding waiver for India, a lot of hue and cry is made on the Nuclear Proliferation. But the same countries including US were aware of the game played by Pakistan in relation to Iran, Syria and North Korea and also earlier by China in helping Pakistan's nuclear technology. Now there are reports that Reagon and Sr.Bush were aware of these developments.

Tthe emergence of a strong European Union posing a challeng to US, and China and India are poised for greater developments, it is time for US to behave as a true country to the spirits of democracy and freedom.

First they have to arrest their diminishing image in the internation scene, which has suffered a dent and then try to improve it.
Let us hope for the best.
With best wishes,
Sridharan

Dr.no,

Neither Pak nor India wants war.But US wants wars throughout the world simply b\\`coz US economy is heavily dependent on defence related commercial activities.

At one hand Lockheed Martin sells F-16 planes to Pak.

At the same time Boeing offers F-18 planes to India.

If both these countries fight.. that will create some jobs in the recession stuck US economy... which in turn will give some respite to the so called financial conglemorates which are in ICU.

Not just India and Pak.. even if it happens anywhere in the world, that would benefit US.. as US is the biggest arms exporter in this Uni-polar world.

India Infoline a fraud company??

Folks,

I have been planning to open an account with one of the broking houses and when i do a google for frauds i see such messages.. one message on india infoline in mouthshut reads

Quote
My experience with India Infoline has been pretty bad... I opened a broking-cum-trading account with them in Dec 07. I transferend about 5 lakhs worth of shares from my existing DP account. As sson as the shares were transfered the relationship manager started trading in FnO segment without my knowledge and took up huge positions in certain stocks without my concent. To restrict the information from me, he didnt even send me the physical contract notes. In the crash of 21-22 January 2008, my account ran into severe margin under-run and at that time the relationship manager call me up to inform me that there has been a loss of 4 laks in my account and I need to pay it up.

When I went to the branch manager to complain about the transactions h told me "Nothing will happen with complaint", "You have to bear the losses" , and instead of taking action against his relationship manager, he bluntly told me to bear all the losses.

On hearing this I rushed to the company Head office in Goregaon, where I met a senior customer service officer who assured me that she would take the necessary action. But to my surprise, I found that they sold off all my shares to cover the losses a few days later. When I went to the Goregaon again, I was informed that a couple of e-,ails had been exchanged between her and the Branch manager and they went ahead with my shares sale. They didnt even bother to send me a reply for my complaint and just sold my shares. The customer service officer told me to mail at the greviance mail id on the homepage of india infoline, but to my surprise a mail sent to the above mail id returned the error message that the id does not exist.

Kerala will make e-filing of sales tax returns compulsory from next fiscal, Finance Minister Thomas Isaac said on Saturday.

From this December, traders will have the option to e-file their returns. However, from next financial year e-filing will be made compulsory,

The Kerala government is expecting 20-25 percent increase in tax revenues this year. The revamped information system is expected to further improve the tax collection next year.

Its hard to admit you have flaws. Its timeout for some social self-examination....
I`d rather be myself than anyone else??
Is the above saying true for you??You are unique. In God`s scheme, there is no one else like you anywhere in the world. No one else has exactly your abilities. No one else has exactly your talent,or your potential.Think of the hundred things you might be and the things you already are.
Step out of your body and take a good look at yourself....Would you marry this person???
