Yes, your message is worth reading. No point criticizing politicians as we the people have voted and elected them. What I feel, we the people of India should stand firm and united to urge the present UPA government to take firm steps to fight terrorism, build strong internal and outer security on top priority. In case the government is failed to deliver it in two months time then, we the people of India should use their voting rights to dislodge the current UPA government from office in coming elections. Enough is enough. We should discard those parties who are going for vote bank in terms of cast, regions, religions and appeasement of minorities. We are facing insecurity in the country by bringing such leaders, parties to power in the last general elections who have shown their real faces and who cannot be pardoned. Let us not vote on the lines of cast, region, religion and appeasement of minorities instead vote for the good, young candidates irrespective of party lines. Please do not vote any candidate who has criminal records at least.
I hope the people of India will understand this and come out in large number to vote their right candidates in coming elections without bias.
Let us keep flame burning in our hearts until we achieve our aims.

We the people are soly responsible to elect such politicians who care for themselves and not for the people who selected them to power.
It is time for retrospection and to vote good people to power and not the one we had selected as criminals, on lines of cast, regions, religion and parties and specially whose candidates have criminal records. What we need is good, educated, retired, army,navy,intelligence, airforce, social workers, eductionists etc who can change our life, transform India to become Super Power, and give us sense of security and freedom.

HK65 But whatever said & done.... Now whether Unitech or any other realty scrips wont go up & up in a straight line..... Sentiments have really turned upside down..... And I have learnt one thing that SENTIMENTS ALWAYS holds an UPPER HAND among FUNDAMENTALS & Technicals etc. But I am also sure that in the long run.... say in 1.5 to 3 years time ..... All these stocks will DEFINATELY CROSS its previous highs & wud ALSO go much much beyond those HIGHER PEAK LEVELS, as I PERSONALLY think & PRESUME that REALTY PRICES in INDIA in the LONGER TERM , say by 2011 will again be at much higher levels.... Any property history wud foretell U that REALTY PRICES have ALWAYS RISEN in the long term & even gone further up than their previous highs.... One more reason I think is that this SECTOR is highly under-owned, in terms of its equities, by any group of people..... ALSO, foreign funds whenever they will come in, will come in FIRST into this sector & also DIRECTLY into REAL ESTATE..... The three-day-long terror strike on the country’s financial capital was devastating in terms of its reach and impact. It has left Corporate India badly shaken and the elites numb. It is no more about bombs being thrown at bus stations or trains getting blasted. It is no longer about only Nagpada or Govindpuri residents losing limbs and lives. Terror has now climbed up the value chain. As the new age entrepreneur Kiran Majumdar Shaw told a Bangalore newspaper, “So far, the terrorists targeted common people. Now the society’s elite, the business sector, is the target. What happened in Mumbai is a loud wake-up call for all of us to do something to protect ourselves.” Corporate India did not bat an eyelid when Mumbai train blasts took place, or when Sarojini Nagar was burning on a Diwali day, or Hyderabad was weeping two years before. But today, every corporate captain is angry, and so are the celebrities who people Page 3 of newspapers, due largely because the attacks on the three top hotels were directly aimed at those who frequent these places, for business or pleasure (contrast this with the scant coverage of the carnage at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, for example, where commoners were involved). All the same, the bleeding-heart liberals would be back to their routine ways after a few days. They will lament that the captured terrorist has not been given his favourite food and not allowed to watch TV or use his cell phone; they will say his human rights are violated. Just wait for the chorus. Of course, this time it will be between Page 3 and the jholawalas (activists) and that should be an interesting match to watch, but that’s another story. In the last ten years, not a single session of any seminar sponsored by the CII or Ficci or business/ general journals has focused on terrorism. Let us summarise what the real situation is and corporate sector should do if we are serious in fighting terrorism on our soil. 1. Recognise and treat Pakistan as a terrorist state. The state policy of Pakistan is terrorism and their single-point programme is to destroy India. This needs to be internalised by every business baron including the owners of media. 2. Now, the elite of Pakistan are more angry, since India is growing at 7% and they are given CCC rating and stiff conditions for borrowing from IMF. Many an academic from that country, who I have met in global conferences, has openly lamented that nobody talks about Indo-Pak relations anymore, but only Indo-China or Indo-American, etc. They want to be equal but they are in deep abyss 3. Pakistan is the only territory in the world where an army has a whole country under its control. This is an important issue since studies have found that a large number of corporates in Pakistan are ultimately owned by the Fauji Foundation (FF), Army Welfare Trust (AWT) Bahria Foundation (BF), Shaheen Foundation (SF) all owned by different wings of armed forces (See paper presented by Dr Ayesha Siddiqa-Agha on “Power, Perks, Prestige And Privileges: Military’s Economic Activities In Pakistan” in The International Conference on Soldiers in Business—Military as an Economic Actor; Jakarta, October 17-19, 2000). Hence, do not try to think of Pakistan without its army, irrespective of who rules that country temporarily and nominally. At least 70% of the market capitalisation of the Karachi stock exchange is owned by the army and related groups. 4. There are three groups in India, who are obsessed with friendship with Pakistan. One is the oldies born in that part before partition and who are nostalgic about the Lahore havelis, halwas and mujras. The second is the Bollywood and other assorted groups, who look at it as a big market. The Dawood gang has financed enough of these useful idiots. The third is the candle light holding bleeding heart liberals (BHLs) who cannot imagine India doing well without its younger brother taken care. MUMBAI: Criticising the Centre`s attitude after every terror strikes across the country, the Shiv Sena Wednesday said the government should first flush out "mini Pakistans" mushrooming in India and then think of teaching the neighbour country a lesson. In a strongly worded editorial published in Samana, Shiv Sena mouthpiece, the party pointed out that "mini Pakistans" cropping up across India should be cleaned out on a priority basis in an attempt to prevent further terror attacks. "When the time comes, teach Pakistan a lesson by launching an attack on it. But before that eliminate Pakistans spread in India with your blessing (ruling politicians). If this is done, most of the things would be clear," reads Samana editorial. "Besides Mumbai, large number of mini Pakistans have grown up in India. People residing in these mini Pakistans are not Indian Muslims. They are either Bangladeshi or Pakistani Muslims. Nobody is paying any attention on their anti-social activities. It is here where they were taught the lesson of `Jihad`," the editorial stated. It also equalled politicians with Lashkar-e-Toiba group as they were allegedly providing ration cards and ensuring that the people from mini Pakistan would get voting rights. The party also demanded the execution of Afzal Guru`s hanging who was convicted of conspiracy on Indian Parliament attack in 2001. "Afzal Guru has been treated in Tihar jail as a guest. He is enjoying there. Afzal should be hanged to set an example on how India reacts to terrorist strikes. His hanging will give a strong message that whoever attacks India will either be hanged or be eliminated in encounter," the editorial says. Talking over the terror attacks allegedly sponsored by Lashkar-e-Taiba, Dawood Ibrahim and Masood Azhar, who was let off after a plane was hijacked in 1999, the editorial said "Unless and until, the associates roaming around in various cities are eliminated, Dawood will strike similar terror attacks. Our ruling party leaders have become impotent and how will these impotent leaders fight terrorism?" the editorial asked. Even as Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee claimed that Pakistan was allegedly involved in the Mumbai terror strikes, the editorial said, "Pakistan is in an enjoying mood and perhaps it may be gearing up for another terror strike." Here it is - The right Part - Yes Section 49-O does exists but it`s merely for exercising ur denial vote means u r voting for none of the candidates contesting the election. the wrong part - All the remaining story, the 50% 49-O & ....... All this is merely a proposal from Election commission of India & it`s yet not be declared an ACT by Parliament (Read our politicians). Even in case of EVMs (Electronic Voting machines) exercising 49-O is not possible, earlier in days of ballot paper, there was provision to keep ballots under 49-O, but now a days under EVMs there is no mechenism to collect 49-O. for a detail on this matter plz. go thru my earlier post replied to Radhika in which i have posted a link to read all the info on 49-O.
