Clarification on H D I L

zoombusiness,please correct me if i am wrong because many ppl have many versions
"If the contract is entered on 21st,the day before the exbonus date,the shares are kept in a pool a/c of the broker n T-2 is for transfer n payment purposes
In this situation,I feel,he is entitled for bonus otherwise why one should pay more price on 21st,if he is not entitled for bonus n get share exbonus?
i will feel obliged if you can clarify on it plz...

All those holding HDIL till 20 august will get bonus.
Those who brought after 20 th August are not entitle for any bonus share.
(Bonus Shares will be provided to only who have delivery today as per the T+2 cycle. So, all those who buy today will not be eligible for Bonus. )

Hey Googol, are you sure about option D? record date is 22nd August and not 21st. Could you pls confirm if i hold now and sell on 22nd Aug then still i will get the bonus shares after 2-3 weeks?

googol , I purchased 100 shares on 20th August, and will be selling them on 21st August, will I be eligible for bonus shares. Or do I need to wait untill 22nd to be eligible for bonus shares.

Hi,
Firstly HDIL goes ex-bonus on 21st and not 22nd. 22nd is record date. So stock bought before 21st will only be eligible for bonus.
Secondly, yes HDIL is one of the best pics in the market. Getting a realty large-cap stock at a PE of 5.5 is really a good deal. Realty sector witnesses growth of 20-50% and HDIL is one of the leaders in realty stocks.
It has strong management, good funds circulation and is fundamentally an excellent stock.
In my opininon, it has potential to go 6 times from its current levels within next 2-3 years.
It has EPS of 72 and thus stock is extremely cheaper when compared to DLF which is trading at 510 with a PE of 30.
So hold your investments in HDIL from long term view and you are sure to make smart money in this counter.

I bought 7 HDIL on 19th aug. So, I am entitled to 2 bonus shares. But if I sell those 7 HDIL today or before getting 2 bonus reflected in my account, will I still get 2 bonus?

i bought 15 shares of hdil on 20th august...will i get bonus..?record date is 22nd august......On the very nextday..it fall down to 329.rs...how its possible...?i am confused..
