morgan stanley might have sold its stake in this stock.otherwise no reason for such steep correction,even when promoters are increasing their stake at 190 levels...

India\'s gem and jewellery exports in value terms rose 16.44%
year-on-year in Apr-Aug to 373 bln rupees, according to data released by the
Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council today.
In dollar terms, the export growth was 16.98% higher from a year ago at
$9.05 bln, GJEPC said.
Average dollar-rupee exchange rate during this period was 41.19 rupees per$1, against 41.38 rupees a year ago, according to the industry body.
GJEPC has set a gem & jewellery total export target of $24 bln for 2008-09.

Hi Rajiv,
When gold prices decreases, the sales of ornaments, gems and Diamonds will increase, which is a positive for Gitanjali. Fundamentally stock is very strong, hold it for few months, you will get good profit out of it. ...

hi this is rajeev . i have 1000 shares of gitanjali gems @ 243 . now its trading on 218 . pls advs what is the propect of this stocks to move up near 250-255.
