Local investors were responsible also when sensex was reaching new highs everyday. It is the madness of local invetors again when it is sinking at a rapid pace. I understand that indian economy will slow down a bit but not that much that we leave investing for years and go to Himalayas.

Hello pradesh,
Thanks for noticing my writting. Yes I indeed took a lot of pains to master the art of TA. Still, everyday, I have to keep on sharpening my TA skills, coz the situation and patterns on the charts too change on a daily basis. Its interesting but very time consuming. Luckily, I stay online for 10 hours everyday, otherwise it would not be possible to do what I am doing. Have a great weekend too.

Looking at the kind of SELLing getting picked up by those FIIs, expect this SUCKer rally to fizzle out before 2900 as in my BS opinion, 2900 has been kept as UPSIDE by those BIG PLAyers.

FII may not sell now and wait for dollar to weaken a little bit ,but on the contrary the possible collapse of CITIBANK is making entire investor community more nervous and the selling may continue .....
it seems to me that monday closing may be below 2700 only ,despite sensex surging at some point of time during the trade.

BTW whats wrong with buying if the rally can go up 3240. Its a decent return from current levels. And its needed to sell... selling now will mean a new low too soon.. And I do not think FIIs are going to return with fresh money ay time soon, so they need to buy now to continue selling at current/slightly higher prices).

Even those FIIs would be SURPRISED to see or note if those FIIs turn net BUYers on MONDAY when those FIIs know that UPSIDE is capped at 3240 for all practical purposes! :) :)
Let us see what happens... Apart from DOW, no other market has made any new lows... In my BS opinion, now is the time for other markets to touch new lows via DOW futures acting as proxy! DOW has not touched 7300 yet leaving ample scope for DOWNWARD journey!

Thanks for appreciating my nifty levels. Yes I am proud that my levels are hitting bulls eye on a day to day basis. Yes I am a full time day trader who sits continously at the Live screen without fail throughout the session. No lunch in between too. Same routine since more than a year and a half. Have become habituated now. It gives me a high to trade everyday, but my wife thinks I have become obsessed with the stock markets as most of my general talks also revolve around the stock markets and my folks at home get bored of me. Nifty call options as soon as Nifty approaches 2770
on Monday or Tuesday and then book profit in Nifty
Put Options when it falls from the resistace of 2795
or so to the level below 2500, I think.
Your bread seems to be buttered on both sides. Pl.

(a) In time of war or of national emergency declared by Congress, or when otherwise authorized by law, an authority designated by the Secretary concerned may, without the consent of the persons affected, order any unit, and any member not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit, of a reserve component under the jurisdiction of that Secretary to active duty for the duration of the war or emergency and for six months thereafter. However a member on an inactive status list or in a retired status may not be ordered to active duty under this subsection unless the Secretary concerned, with the approval of the Secretary of Defense in the case of the Secretary of a military department, determines that there are not enough qualified Reserves in an active status or in the inactive National Guard in the required category who are readily available.
(b) At any time, an authority designated by the Secretary concerned may, without the consent of the persons affected, order any unit, and any member not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit, in an active status in a reserve component under the jurisdiction of that Secretary to active duty for not more than 15 days a year. However, units and members of the Army National Guard of the United States or the Air National Guard of the United States may not be ordered to active duty under this subsection without the consent of the governor of the State (or, in the case of the District of Columbia National Guard, the commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard).
Due to a large amount of interest in this matter, and a large number of websites linking to the show, the Pentagon were notified of the broadcast and asked for a complete transcript of the show. The Pentagon then reassured the broadcaster that there was no reason to worry, and that the recall was solely for `hunting down terrorists` or repairing ravaged properties.

Letters are being prepared to be mailed to all retired Army officers, U.S. Army officers, calling them back to active duty. That is happening this week. Next week the warrant officers and sergeants get their letters…
The last time this has happened, I have talked to some of my veteran friends, historians, and so forth. Last time we know was December 1941. This was called a general mobilization. It has not happened since December 1941. It did not happen in Korea , did not happen in Vietnam , has not happened since.
This is very serious stuff. A general mobilization is about as serious as it gets, We have been hearing their rattlings. I just read yesterday that Obama has –President-elect Obama– has said that, well, intelligence sources from the military that there may be an impending threat — a very serious threat to the United States. US Military is currently preparing letters to be sent out recalling to service ALL non-commissioned officers, warrant officers, reserves, and RETIRED officers back to full service.
Men and women these letters are going out to are in every sector of society. They are doctors, lawyers, accountants, police officers, firemen all over the United States . It is a very serious disruption nationwide of people’s lives and careers. I would not take this lightly. I would not do it haphazardly. There is a company called AEP. Now AEP is one of the largest generators of electricity in the entire country. They generate like 38,000 megawatts of capacity and they are in Texas , Ohio –all over the place. They are based out of Columbus , Ohio . The report that I got was –and let me jump back to it– the Gabon power plant, and that is actually in Ohio itself, they are moving in trailers. Now one of the electricians that is working at the site said that there is between 45 to 50 trailers that have been moved in with beds, bedding, and MRE’s. Trailers have been moved in to house 50,000 personnel in one location alone, complete with beds and sheets.
