Is it CORRECTION or DESTRUCTION ?
Look at the possible melt-down of heavy wieghts with
near term targets against each:
RELIANCE INDT. 1100
BHARATI AIRTEL 550
STATE BANK 1000
DLF 244
TATA STEEL 240
BHEL 980

Dear shakti,
The more important question is NOT how far the nifty would go down but when it would start moving up again?If it is three months then we can sit and watch but if it is three years then some action is required immediately.

Look at the Asia indices now, I had a feeling that we will not be having any intermediate rallies but dive down to any level, I think DOW might fall to 7800 if earnings did not provide support there. In that case we will fall to 2500 to 2600 levels......

console ourselves that Dow has good support at 10,200 but it
collapsed like house of cards. No big surprise if we crash
down to 2800. There is nothing wrong with Indian Economy. Uncle
Sam is pulling us in deep waters with him, although we are very
strong enogugh to keep afloat.

Dear BSR,
Since USA markets DOW finished at 9447, Now we can see the NIFTY at 3100 levels
Today we will fall bay 250 points , to finish at 3350. and then to 3100 , at 3100 levels bottom can be formed... ( earliar i had a view that 3500 is support ) now 3100.....

You are among the rare investors who hardly ever lose. Longer
the term, greater is the surety of profit.
I promise to keep on posting my messages here giving long
term turn around points for the market, although exact time
line cannot be given. Analysis of Index values comes accurate
within 1% even in for very long cycles of 10 years and over.
Financial fundamentals and Political situation can delay or
accelarate the targets depending on the type of information
factored in the index values. With fulllest confidence I can
predict 35,500 for DOW JONES which is reeling under sub 10,000
values now. Fincancial fundamentals may accelrate the target
of 35,500 to as early as 2016 or as late as 2025. In depth
study of the past 100 years of Dow enables me to see so clearly
in future.
But there are guys here who even went to extent that I am
BEATING DRUM OF 3600 for the last one year. I would like to tell
them, they are financiall dumb who could not listen to loud
sound of the drum, no wonder they are bleeding now. Those who
did pay attention to my voice and wieghed my arguements in light
of reason, are safe and stil sitting on pile of money.
Never ingore the VOICE OF DISSENT.

This is my first post to you ever.
I have read many of your posts so far.What you have predicted so many months back has come exactly true today. You definitely deserve utmost praise for this prediction.Please accept my heartfelt congratulations. I can say you know your TA and EWT theory quite well.I suggest you to predict only indices levels in future with very very broad time indications ( + or - three to six months )and not commit on the exact time frame which is most difficult to predict as everyone knows.However even this cannot deflect anything away from the credit you richly deserve. I always feel we have to give credit where it is due and between you & Kalidas , MMB has been served well in the last one year.
Coming to the future , please keep up the good work and give us your broad view on when you expect the U turn in the markets.
Personally I have been investing continously since Oct / Nov 2007 and continue to buy even now. By nature and reasoning , I am a very LT investor who normally holds shares for 3 + years at the minimum.
To be frank I have managed to get a tremendous CAGR in the last ten years ( way way out of normal expectations) by asset swapping across asset classes and sectoral rotations inside the stock markets , long term front running in FII investible sectors.Even as a LT investor , I feel that picking shares at lower index levels can be definitely helpful as this will increase the volume of purchase as well giving a better of margin of safety in price.
I still believe sensex 22000 levels are possible in second half of 2009 and even started a thread to that effect sometime back.Your take will be useful.

If something can go wrong, it will go wrong.
Unfortunately we may see 2800 for Nifty and
9000 for Sensex. I am trying to refine the
exact values using my never fail EWT principle.
Meanwhile, you may like to short sell at every
rally and cover shorts at every little support....

You are talking of Nifty at 3600, this level may be left
behind today. Next major level for Nifty is 2800 which is
Sensex equivalent of 9000. This is not impossible.
There is age old saying; In bad times, if worst can happen,
it will happen. The month of October is notorious for stock
market crashes anyway.
Short sell at every rally and cover shorts at every little
support if any.

As govt not showing any interest in stock market matters at the moment,the nse index nifty is struggling at 3600 and may face strong resistance on the back drop of global turmoil....
Investors of india is in deep troubles and might have not faced this type of situation ever before....
Specail thanks to FM/PM for not taking proper measures/decisions in protecting investors wealth.... if they are unable to solve the problems of investors in these difficult times,the should have not behaved like bull operators in the previous years.... they talked too much about indian stories&stock market and now simply hiding behind the screens.......

Infosys will beat the rupee targets , but fall short by Dollar revenue targets, If they can meet their Dollar revenue target this time that will signal a small Bull run up to 3900, ( this 3900 I have considered that we will go dwon to 3300 till friday ), and if they don`t god knows where is the bottom for nifty.

adding further to the down side ,dow ended 508 pts down!!!!!!! the crisis is getting more n more worse as we are moving ahead! its time for us to check in and understand what it means! this may be some more worse downside! this is a part of it as we may hav series of bad news droppng in fundamentally which will lead to bottominf of market technically! but sure no time to buy as its not the end of the worse which is happening!!!!!!!!!...

I think you have not got my message right.I did not say that senior boarders should say good about market.I said senior boarders cheer up those who have incurred huge losses and are in the verge of a breakdown.Yesterday I recd two messages and both disturbed me .I have some knowledge of reading the mind by reading the message and the first message was written in total anguish and desperation which is a dangerous sign.I thought apart from my replying,if others also write,it would help that boarder to get some peace of mind.Thats all.Hope I have made myself clear now.

I am shocked to see the first result that has rolled out today that of Prism cement.Their NP has fallen 71% on a y-o-y basis and 77% on q-o-q basis.I think many cos would come out with such results only.No wonder cement stocks are falling like nine pins.I do not know what Infosys is going to offer on 10th!.I think Lakshmicotsyn also would fail in the results going by how its price has been butchered
